Hey everybody, we have really good news! Now we are putting our most unique and exotic plants to auction so you will have the opportunity to bid for your favorite(s). Please be responsible when you bid.

FAQ

How do I bid on your auctions?

In order to bid on our auction items you must be 18 years or older and have a customer account with our website. Just remember, you are entering into a legally binding contract. You are required to complete payment for all auctions you win. Once a bid is placed, it is legally binding and may not be retracted. 

  

When do the auctions start and how long are they?

Auctions begin Wednesday at 12pm EST and end Sunday at 12pm EST. Winners are notified immediately of their winning by email. Winners must pay for their plant within 24 hours. 


Is there minimum bidding? 

There is a $5 minimum bidding increment, we will specify in each auction so you wont get confused.

 

Does the auction do "anti-sniping"?

No. The auction will end at time mentioned and will not be extended.


How are the plants shipped?

All our action plants are one of one and exclusive. Every plant shipped will be EXPRESS with USPS or UPS. We require a physical delivery address; we do not ship to PO boxes.


  

What are the payment terms?

Once the auction has closed the winner will be alerted via email. Payment must be made within 24 hours of winning the bid. 

If payment is not received within this time frame, we reserve the right to relist the auction item in question and suspend your account from participating in future auctions. 

  

What is proxy bidding and how does it work?

You can place an automatic bid, and will not have to place a manual bid again and again. 

Proxy bidding places bids on your behalf at the lowest possible increments. Simply enter your maximum bid (the highest amount you are willing to pay) and the system will automatically bid on your behalf until your maximum bid is exceeded. 

If no one bids higher than you, you will be the winner. If someone outbids your maximum proxy bid, then you will not win the auction. 

  

Is there a fee for auctioning?

No, there are no additional fees to place an auction through our website. Please note, when you place a bid on an auction item, you enter into a binding legal contract to purchase the item if you are the winning bidder.  


Can I get a discount for buying one or more plants?

No, our auctions are not subject to discounts, coupons or other promotional offers. The final amount bid is the total expected to be paid.

  

What happens if I place a bid but don't pay?

Please note when you place a bid on an auction item, you are agreeing to submit payment for the winning bid. Failure to complete payment on multiple occasions will result in your account being blocked from participating in future auctions. We reserve the right to withdraw a registered user’s privilege to bid, terminate a user account and/or remove a bid at any time, for any reason, prior to, during, or after the auction. 


Do you charge sales tax?

Yes, state sales tax will be applied to the final cost of the auction plant, based on the winner’s delivery address.





Terms and Conditions

  • All our action plants are one of one and exclusive so shipping will be EXPRESS with USPS or UPS. 
  • Failure to complete payment on multiple occasions will result in your account being blocked from participating in future auctions. We reserve the right to withdraw a registered user’s privilege to bid, terminate a user account and/or remove a bid at any time, for any reason, prior to, during, or after the auction. 
  • We are not responsible if you forget to order a heat pack and your plant arrives with cold damage.
  • We are not responsible if there is any delay with the shipping company, in that case you will have to contact them directly.
  • Make sure your address is correct. We are not responsible if the order is sent to the wrong address. We will not refund if the plant is lost in-transit because of a wrong address.
  • Do not worry if your plant comes with a yellowing leaf. This tends to happen during shipping. Sometimes plants will sacrifice a leaf when they are in shipment to give nutrients to the rest of the plant. Each plant that leaves our greenhouse has its roots inspected to make sure it's strong enough to arrive at its new home. Do not worry your plant is strong and will continue to provide new leaves under the proper care.
  • We do our very best to make sure that you receive your plant the same way it leaves our greenhouse but sometime/rarely leaves will arrive with a tear or a bend. This is nothing to worry about. If there was no damage to any growth point everything will be fine. We must understand that these are live plants and when taken care of properly after arrival will continue to give you more and more beautiful leaves. 
  • Plants are shipped Monday and Tuesday.
  • Late notices are not acceptable because we have many orders to ship on Monday. Otherwise, we’ll ship out your order with the original information. After Sunday at 12pm, we can’t make any changes.
  • There are no returns, refunds or exchanges on auction plants. Auction plants are sold “as-is”.

Guarantee 

We do our very best to make sure that you receive your plant the same way it leaves our greenhouse but sometime/rarely leaves will arrive with a tear or a bend. This is nothing to worry about. If there was no damage to any growth point everything will be fine. We must understand that these are live plants and when taken care of properly after arrival will continue to give you more and more beautiful leaves.

Our shop uses UPS, so please keep in mind the weather conditions in your area especially this winter season. We will not be held responsible if your package arrives delayed or damaged from UPS.
